Cassie Rodgers first found her way to the mat she was drawn in equally by the physical and spiritual aspects. After completing her 200-hour certification with Daren Friesen at Moksha Yoga, she has continued to expand her knowledge studying with Tias Little, Aadil Palkhival, Rod Stryker, and currently working towards her 500-hour certification through Tejas Yoga. From her in-depth studies in prenatal yoga and personal practice during both her pregnancies she created The Pregnant Practice, a training for teachers and students on how to best modify for pregnancy. Her regular group classes provide mindful sequencing including asana (poses), pranayama (breathwork), and dhyana (meditation) to find balance and harmony using the energetic effects attainable through yoga and ayurveda. She strives to create a space where students can connect to themselves on a more subtle level yet feel challenged safely while receiving the amazing benefits of yoga.
