Lighthouse Yoga teacher training is an opportunity to develop a stronger practice as an individual in order to provide the best possible instruction to others. The program takes place over the course of two three-month modules, with meetings on weekend afternoons and assignments and practice requirements throughout the week and the course of the training.

Is the training registered with Yoga Alliance?
Lighthouse Yoga teacher training is a certified and accredited program with Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level. Although not a requirement, many studios and athletic facilities require certification with the Yoga Alliance in order to ensure a common standard of excellence in teaching.
Are there application requirements?
There are no specific requirements to attend the teacher training. It is highly recommended that each student has at least a year of consistent yoga practice and a sincere desire to learn.
What are the additional requirements outside the training weekends?
Each participant will be required to film a small group class for critique and collective learning. Additionally an Asana choreography presentation and final project will be required for graduation from the program.
Will there be make-up days if I can't attend one of the weekends?
There will be one, possibly two make-up weekends during the summer months to ensure that all participants have the required number of contact hours with the lead teachers.
